Walk-in freezer superheat too high

Emerson CU model:ffap-032z-tfc-071 Heat craft fan coil model: ecp6120bj

1 ton txv

Target temp: -10f

R404a obviously

I can't get the correct superheat no matter what I do it's too high... Think I need a bigger txv? I can only get this box down to 0f.

I just pulled new wire from defrost clock, installed new clock, installed new defrost termination/fan delay, installed new digital temp control in-line with defrost to shut down CU when either defrost or temp control satisfies. All that works perfect.

They had a smaller condenser before and the temp hung out around 8f. They wanted it below zero so I installed the previously mentioned CU.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated
