So I’m currently enlisted in the army as a utilities equipment repairer and so I received my type 1 and type 2 certification. Later on down the road I had gotten the chance to take the type 3 test and passed. Now I have my universal and looking to possibly get out of the army after this contract ends. I’m looking for info on where I would be placed in the hvac world and if my military experience counts as experience for jobs. I’m kinda lost on the whole lingo like journey man and apprentices and stuff. Also my certification is from department of defense, I don’t know how that correlates from state to state (I read each state has their own test you have to take). I have quite a bit of time left (year and half) until I get out and I would like to take the time I have now to kinda figure everything out.
