Quick question. I suspect I've broken the tension of the spring in my low side gauge. just want conformation from others who may have done what I did before I buy a new guage for my manifold.
I'd pressurised a system to 25 Bar of nitro while leak testing. (I know I should only use the high side guage but I'm impatient).
anyway, after dumping the nitro, my guage only returned from Retard back to 7 Bar after once there was no pressure in the line or manifold. the adjustment on the guage doesn't allow for 7 Bar of adjustment. I suspect the springs tension was damaged with that amouny pressure. These are R134a, R404, R22, R410 gauges.
an easy, "they are fucked" or " they are repairable" will do. Thanks in advance.
