new refrigerator(?)

this is going to be a relatively long but benign post but here's the deal,

• I've had the same refrigerator for 11 years now and up until recently has worked well

• Recently it started getting warm for extended periods of time, (not cooling for up to 6 hours at a time) but as far as i could tell, every component was working-compressor, fan, motor, no breaks in lines anywhere

• i tried some things- cleaning out dust from compartment behind/underneath and cleaning/defrosting the inside

• Thursday night ijust gave up and decided to go out looking for one friday

• found the perfect fridge at a relatively inexpensive price(french door, ice tray, interior water dispenser) and signed to pay $400/month for the next 3 months for it(scratch and dent)

• Ever since i signed to have this new fridge(5 days ago) my old one has been working fine, naturally.

• The new one will be delivered in 3 days, but i have until the end of tomorrow to cancel the purchase.

• the new fridge is great and for a pretty good price, but it's going to really tighten my already tight finances

should i just go with the new one and deal with the added financial stress or just stick with what i have since it appears to be working now?

TL;DR old fridge stops working, sign a $1200 payment agreement for a new one, old fridge says "it was just a prank bro"
