Does anyone know if there is a relationship between the return air temperature and suction pressure of an evaporator coil in a DX system? I remember reading somewhere that a drop in 1 deg F in return air temperature will result in a 1 deg F drop in the suction line temperature (assuming superheat remains the same) but not sure if this is true. Please advise, thanks.
