I just got this insignia mini fridge (brand new from best buy), and the inside smells like formaldehyde. Should I be concerned? I know that active formaldehyde is cancerous with prolonged exposure, I mean the smell inside the fridge is pretty strong. I'm also concerned that my food might get tainted with it, should I throw the food out? What should I do to remove the smell and prevent it from happening again? Might there be hidden damage to the point where I should return it? (none visible)
