Why do so many techs leave them on? Yes they are good for diagnosing and then you are suppose to remove them in a proper manner and weld permanent valves on. Do techs everywhere just leave them on? My first month at my new job when i moved all i did was get sent to jobs to “find leaks.” Which all in all was just removing piercing valves and welded on permanent stubs, nitrogen test, proper vacuum and then charging system.
