In need of a system that chills a 4x4x2' enclosure down to 40°F for research purposes.

I am trying to find an affordable method to chill an enclosure down to 40°F for less than $800.

I've looked into chillers but most are industrial grade for upwards of $4,000. I have also looked into refrigeration cycles, but cannot find something that matches my specific criteria. Does anyone know what parts I would need to buy to setup this system?
