Hey guys - I manufacture ice cream and frozen novelties I am expanding beyond my 5 chest freezers to a walk-in-freezer as my business has gotten to that point. I am looking for a -20 walk-in-freezer so I am hoping you guys can offer some suggestions or thoughts on the dependable brands, ones without many issues, and potential problems I might encounter along the way. I have a concrete pad and wiring ready to go, it's now the problem of choosing the right one. I've looked online and cannot find any customer reviews aside from the ones that the respective companies have on their website.
I have not started pricing used units to potentially avoid problems, warranty issues, etc. I have started looking at new units and had to pick my jaw up off the floor on the pricing. So this really makes me wonder what brands are awesome/good versus ok/sucky. If I'm going to invest in a brand new freezer, any recommendations - the brand, features, and respective warranties would be appreciated.
