Could use some help. I have a Manitowoc Neo UR0240a. The machine is super clean, 2013 model. It was always stored inside and serviced regularly. Very good condition cosmetically. Customer says it was working fine one day and then stopped and would not turn on. Upon inspection I don't see any lights on the control board. Removed board and it is clearly burnt up, with the TOP244R Power Integrated Circuit fried on Pin #7. Not sure how or why this happened??? Anyways, I did a pretty thorough inspection of all the other electrical wiring, connectors, etc. to make sure there were no other damaged components. There is nothing visible. I ordered a new control board and it arrived and I installed. Plugged everything in and I have nothing. No lights on the control board, doesn't do anything when power button is pressed. I checked voltage on the primary leads from the plug, all good. Checked fuse, all good. I checked voltage on each lead on the multi-pin plug to the board and voltage is good. I can manually press the contactor for compressor and it comes on fine. What are my next steps to test? My old board was obviously bad and there's always a chance the new board is a lemon out of the box... but I'm thinking it's more likely that another component (relay or start capacitor) may also be damaged??? Are there any other components that would keep the control board from giving me LED status lights? Tried pressing and holding the TEST button for 3 seconds per the manual, nothing. No sounds, clicks, lights, etc. Any troubleshooting steps for jumping pins or eliminating other components? Thanks for your time, always appreciated!
