Brand New GE Fridge, Weird Noise behind Freezer

Brand New GE Fridge, Weird Noise behind Freezer

I've had this fridge 3 days. Ever since it was installed in our cabin, there is a sound that is emitted pretty often, seemingly from behind the freezer compartment. It sounds like something is trying to start up, but can't. This video gives a good sense of the variety of sounds that are coming from back there, but you probably need headphones to hear it well. It's like a revving-up followed by a fail.

The sounds.

I got the fridge from Costco, and I know returns are possible, but it was delivered to a pretty remote mountain location, so I just want to make sure a return is what I should do, and that this isn't just a normal operating sound. The fridge and freezer both worked fine the entire 3 days I spent at the cabin with the new fridge.

Two other factors: the fridge is on a floor that isn't perfectly level. It tilts to the back (see pic). Second, when the guys came to install it, they had the fridge very tilted (almost horizontal) to get it in the door. I don't know if any of this makes a difference as to a possible cause of the sound.

Slight backward tilt

Thanks for any input.
