Finding a job as a refrigeration technician in US?

Hello guys,

I'm french will be start studying this september industrial refrigeration in french university for 2 year.

I did plumbing last year and I finished high school course for maintenance in boiler, split, cold storage etc this year. The high school curriculum is 5 months in school and 7 months in a company. It will be the same cycle for next two years and I am already hired in a company called Engie. I have also a certifate that confirms that I can manipulate refrigerants for any type of equipments other than automobiles (I don't know if you guys have similar certificate based on kyoto and montreal treaty).

Anyway I'd like to move to US in 4 or 5 years because my childhood dream was exercising one of three professions (police officer, soldier, helicopter pilot). Since I'm married becoming first two are out of options because both job requires moving to other towns very much.

Last job left is helicopter pilot and I'd like to work in refrigeration in US while I take courses to become a helicopter pilot.

I'd like to know what kind of diploma or certificate refrigeration company in US requires you to have? Can a foreigner work in these companies with student visa?
