Hello guys. HVAC/R apprentice from Ontario here. I just came into a free to me fridge that I want to fix. After a pretty thorough leak search and vac decay I'm 99% sure it's in the evap coils which aren't accessible.
Our company is pretty old school when it comes to this stuff, oil and refrigerant only; we keep a few vials on hand for clapped out ACs where the customer insists on trying a fix, but we never add it to cap tube systems so I've got no basis for comparison.
That said: it's a free fridge and it's scrap metal if i don't try something, on the other hand I don't want to waste the cash if it's gonna just clog the cap tube.
Anyone have experience using this stuff on fractional systems?
