I have a Russell evaporator that is driving me nuts. It’s EcoNet enabled. (3 years old). The suction line thermistor went bad and was replaced. Ever since then it goes into like a safe mode. It doesn’t call for the exv to open, all the sensors and reading properly, and it sits on low speed fan and maintains around 55F. The fault light is blinking, but no alarms are saved. Powering down and restarting the evaporator makes it work again for another six days - six days every time. Tech support say to just change the board because when the thermistor went bad, it probably screwed up the programming. Btw this is on a cooler with air defrost. Any suggestions before I drop a thousand dollar board into this unit? I’m sure I forgot something so just add the question to the comments. I’m tired. It’s hot out there!
