Had to have a leaking cooling drum replaced on my commercial granita machine (Bunn Ultra-2) and was wanting to move from R404A to R290. This was a birthday gift to myself this year but has turned into a bit of a project.
The system originally took 10oz of R404A, operating at 240psi on the high side and 34 psi on the low side.
How many ounces of R290 should be put into the system? I'm getting myself confused looking at the psi to temperature scale on the gauge sets for the R404A and R290. System was professionally pressure tested and evacuated after the repair. Any advice is appreciated.
