In the field I try to save as many copper bulb straps as I can and use them with proper insulation, but locally I can't find them separately and I hate seeing zip tied bulbs that I sometimes have to reattach with tape + insulation.
And I learned that copper straps conduct more thermal energy than the physical contact of the bulb itself, so I was wondering, are there any 2nd best alternatives to copper straps? aluminum foil tape? maybe certain type of thermal grease to help there?
