We're getting into summer here and it gets pretty hot in LA. We're a market refrigeration/HVAC company and we service a couple chains here in the area.
I feel like I'm going insane with the on call and night work. I didn't get home last week before midnight at all, and yesterday I finished work at 4am from working all day, then had to go back in at 1pm. It's getting really tiring.
I listen to what my classmates are doing (most are HVAC) and they're getting 60 hours max. I'm getting 60 hours on a typical week.
I didn't really want to do refrigeration to begin with but the job is really fun, and working in markets isn't bad, but the hours are slowly killing me. I'd like to make the jump to chillers at some point but.. just wanted to ask guys if I'm being a wimp or if my concerns are valid.
