Spent a dumb amount of time the other day soldering wires for an ammonia gas sensor onto a 4 pin connector that plugs onto the transmitter board. I thought to myself, when I get home I'm going to buy a kit of assorted crimps and the tools to re-do or repair these things properly. I see various types all over the place - chillers, DDC boards, packaged rooftops, screw compressor control units, whatever.
Spent a few hours reading over various articles, like this one, searching the web and forums, etc. There seems to be a ridiculous amount of different types. I can't figure out what to buy. Wondering if the refrigeration/HVAC industry gravitates towards a certain make or model.
Anyone here have any input?
