We recently purchased an Insignia brand freezer chest from best buy, mostly due to it being the only brand in my area (model NS-CZ50WH0 to be exact). Hoping it will last at least a few years. This is our first freezer chest, and there are a couple of noises I wanted to ask about:
clicking - This doesn't happen frequently, but it does occur several times throughout the day. lets say once every hour or two. freezer seems to be operating fine and sounds like the clicking is just the condensor?
ping sound - This sounds like a slightly high pitched ping, like a piece of metal being flicked or something. happens less often than the clicking mentioned above, and normal operation otherwise.
So far the freezer is quiet and seems to work normally. We've had it for 2 weeks and I just want to confirm the sound is normal and okay.
