I was wondering when you match a condensing unit with an evaporator, how much can the BTU of the evaporator differ from the condensing unit? Does it have to be higher? I've seen my suppliers quote higher and lower BTU evaporators with the same condensing. For example a Bohn condensing unit with the model: BDT0900L6C has a BTU of 46,720 at -20 F SST. I have seen one supplier pair it with two 20,000 BTU evaporators and the other pair it with two 24,000 BTU evaporators. Can someone please explain to me which one is the right choice in a scenario like this.
