So a little bit of information first
It's a masterbilt walk in freezer, the TXV bulb was not attached at all to the auction line and the compressor had been short cycling on the off cycle upwards of 7 times a minute.

When I arrived on site the compressor was running.
Common 7.5a, run 5.45a, start 3.75a. 40psi low side 220psi high.
The body of the compressor was hot and I tried to pump the system down by closing off my receiver with no movement on either gauge. After 15 more minutes my compressor finally went off on thermal.
Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on? I've talked to all local distributors and all manufacturers I could get a hold of without any luck.
