Severed tube?

Severed tube?

I don't know if this is the right sub. If not, please direct me to the right place.

I bought a used fridge yesterday. I let it settle for about 16 hours before turning it on. When I turned it on it made a rattling sound and a lot of cold air (gas?) came out the back. I unplugged it and checked the back only to find two severed tubes, which I assume carry refrigerant or some kind of gas (see pictures attached) Is this repairable? Is it even worth it? Is it dangerous? I have opened all windows and am wearing an n95 mask (that I still have due to covid)
