I’ve got a space in my basement that, I believe, would be perfect for a reach in beer cooler. It’s 4’x4’x80”. What would it take to keep this area at 40 degrees? Ideally this will be for beer storage and serving. I’ve seen posts everywhere (especially on homebrew forums) that use controllers to trick an ac unit into cooling lower than normal, that quickly kill the unit. With an area so small, would this be easily achievable? If at all possible, I would love to have a small freezer compartment as well. I also have a beer fridge I could Frankenstein if needed. Thanks!
